John Tague – Avela Services Chair
John is a local businessman with extensive retail business experience. John is an experienced Managing Director with a track record of leading multifunctional teams in delivering challenging targets and objectives. John lives in South Liverpool and in 2018 developed and launched Skinny Whip bars. The Skinny brand has grown massively and is now the No. 2 best-selling bar in the UK.

Chris Heath
Chris is a Charted Surveyor and degree qualified Quantity Surveyor, with a background in construction, engineering and property development within local government and the private sector, in the UK and the Middle East. He is currently Managing Director of Cube Homes, the private sector residential development arm of Great Places Housing Group.

David Simons
David has 20 years experience running a member-owned national organisation (National Pharmacy Association, NPA), having previously held senior management roles at The Co-op, Shop Direct and Boots. As Chief Operating Officer at the NPA also served as Finance Director.

Karen Lowe
Karen is a risk management professional with over 25 years working across a wide range of sectors in the UK and internationally.  She is a qualified Local Counter Fraud Specialist and Chartered Accountant, with experience in areas such as corporate governance, fraud risk management, internal audit, business continuity and legal compliance.

She was born and raised in Liverpool, and has worked with several housing associations of various sizes in the north of England and across Scotland. 

David Jepson
David has had over 30 years experience in social housing starting his career with new build housing co-operatives in Liverpool. He went on to work with the national housing consultancy Chapman Hendy Associates and then moved on to The Riverside Group.

He has had over 16 years experience of senior management including as deputy chief executive at Riverside and as Chief Executive in several other organisations. He has wide experience of urban regeneration, private finance initiatives, stock transfers, mergers, and the establishment of commercial ventures. He has also had a wide range of experience in governance in both executive and non-executive roles.

Graham Pink
Graham is an expert in regeneration, infrastructure and healthcare development projects and has held several senior roles in health and regeneration companies across Merseyside and Lancashire. Previously Chief Executive of Liverpool and Sefton Health Partnerships, Graham is currently Director of Commissioning and Commercial Management at Cheshire West and Chester Council where he is responsible for delivering large regeneration schemes and managing the council's large contracts.

He was formerly Project Director of Liverpool Land Development Company and the Speke Garston Development Company, which led the economic regeneration of South Liverpool under the European Objective One Programme.
