We’re on the hunt for a new chair of our Avela Services Board.

Avela Services Ltd is a commercial enterprise and a subsidiary of South Liverpool Homes. It focusses on two joint ventures - Avela Home Service who delivers repairs and maintenance services to homes and Avela Developments who brings together a skilled local workforce and supply chain to help accelerate the supply of much-needed homes to the area.

You will join us at an exciting time as the joint ventures look to grow their services and explore the future of decarbonisation.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of overall business and commercial issues facing an organisation
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the area of property or facilities management
  • The ability to understand strategic asset management, appraisals and funding
  • An understanding of the social housing sector and how development is funded and managed

The remuneration for this role is £6,002 per year.
